Job summary

Electric Supply and Equipment Company is seeking a hands-on assembler to build structured electrical hardware configurations used in automation applications. You will work from detailed mechanical layouts to assemble components that support downstream assembly by customers.

Responsibilities include interpreting layouts and BOMs, drilling and tapping with tools, and ensuring assemblies meet quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be computer literate and able to read technical docs.
  • Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • General electrical wiring knowledge beneficial.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and able to communicate effectively.
  • Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Job description

Join a dynamic team at a leading automation component distributor, where precision and craftsmanship meet industrial innovation. This hands‑on role focuses on assembling structured electrical hardware configurations used in a variety of automation applications. Technicians will work from detailed mechanical layouts to build assemblies that support downstream final assembly by our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanically assemble electrical components—such as relays, terminal blocks, and enclosures—onto mounting surfaces according to layout specifications
  • Interpret layout drawings and bills of materials to ensure accurate placement and alignment
  • Operate hand and power tools to drill, tap, and fasten components with precision
  • Perform visual inspections and dimensional checks to verify build quality
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure assemblies meet customer expectations and industry standards
Qualifications:
  • Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with electrical components and structured hardware layouts (no wiring required)
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation and layout drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

This position supports our customers by preparing high-quality assemblies that streamline their final assembly and integration processes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
