Job summary

Baker Hughes ARMO Tech – Equip I role in Midland, TX, performs electro‑mechanical assembly and maintenance on equipment, following defined procedures and safety standards.

The ARMO Tech reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembles components, documents work, and supports operations with basic soldering and use of standard tools. A technical diploma or 2+ years industrial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or Associate degree or 2+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.
• Basic soldering and electro‑mechanical assembly skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions.
• Commitment to working safely in an industrial environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Following formal procedures, work instructions, and maintenance practices.
• Performing basic soldering and assembly of electro‑mechanical devices and components.
• Using standard hand tools and equipment in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• Documenting work activities and maintaining records using basic computer systems.
• Supporting shop and operational activities based on business needs.
• Conducting all work in accordance with HSE policies and compliance standards.
