Job summary

Baker Hughes in Minot, ND seeks an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech I to perform electro-mechanical assembly and maintenance in an industrial shop, reading technical docs, following procedures, and supporting equipment reliability.

Fueling Your Passion

As an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech I, you will support electro-mechanical activities by reading technical documentation, assembling components, and following formal procedures and maintenance practices. You will apply basic technical skills and use standard tools to support shop and operational requirements in an industrial setting.

As an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech I, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Following formal procedures, work instructions, and maintenance practices.
• Performing basic soldering and assembly of electro-mechanical devices and components.
• Using standard hand tools and equipment in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• Documenting work activities and maintaining records using basic computer systems.
• Supporting shop and operational activities based on business needs.
• Conducting all work in accordance with company Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) policies and compliance standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Technical diploma or Associate degree OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial experience (e.g., airline, military, oilfield, automotive).
• Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.
• Have basic skills in soldering and electro-mechanical assembly.
• Have basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Have the ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions.
• Have the ability to work safely in an industrial environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
