Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Electrical Assembler to join our production team. In this role you will assemble complex mechanical and electrical components according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and full systems using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Perform wiring, crimping, soldering, and routing of cables and wires.
  • Install circuit boards, motors, switches, sensors, and other electronic components.
  • Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical issues during assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve design or production issues.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly (or similar field).
  • Proficient with hand tools, soldering irons, and electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., using ERP systems, reading digital work instructions).
  • Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC or J-STD soldering certification.
  • Experience in a regulated or ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma.
