Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking an entry-level Mechanical/Electro-mechanical Assembler to build and test components for the Organ Perfusion system.

Under supervision, you will assemble sub-assemblies, follow manufacturing documents, and help meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality. You will collaborate with teammates, learn to troubleshoot basic issues, maintain kanban stock, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent technical degree with 1-2 years in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
• Ability to assemble parts, position and fasten using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for Perfusion modules.
• Contribute to meeting production targets while upholding safety and quality.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain production pace and output levels.
• Maintain kanban stock and ensure materials are available before depletion.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting of assembly processes and equipment.
• Follow engineers' instructions and support process changes.
• Support Lean and Health & Safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
