Job summary

Trust Automation in California is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to build sub‑assemblies of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical parts and final products. You will ensure products meet customer and quality requirements and maintain records of the assembly process.

The role is divided into three classifications: Assembler 1, 2, and 3. Compensation varies with skill level and experience, and employees work under supervision while collaborating with Engineering, Materials, and Quality

Qualifications

• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and work instructions.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use common hand tools, and some necessary test tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using pre-established guidelines, instructions, and documentation (diagrams, work instructions, drawings, etc.).
• Work with small hand tools such as, electric drivers, torque tools, wire strippers, cutters, tweezers, and use measuring devices, etc.
• Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, epoxy, fasten, align, adjust, press fit or perform similar operations to join or secure parts.
• Mount assembled components on printed circuit boards and chassis.
• Connect wires between connectors, terminals and contact points.
• May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying devices.
• Perform online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts meet production standards.
• Learn through hands on training while focusing on proficiency.
• Report repetitive assembly problems and propose solutions.
• Work under supervision and with other departments.
• Document all work performed on product within the ERP system.
