Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble electro-mechanical components for NEWAGE hardness tester products. The role supports legacy repair and new assembly at our Largo facility.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of technical assembler experience, ability to read prints, perform basic math, and operate common hand tools and assembly machines. High school diploma or technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a technical assembler, supporting legacy repair and new assembly of products.
• Ability to read prints and perform basic math; proficient with common hand tools and assembly machines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
