Job summary

Raytheon’s San Diego Manufacturing Depot is seeking an Electrical Assembly II to repair, fabricate, and modify electro‑mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering documentation. This onsite, first‑shift role supports depot production operations and follows a 9/80 schedule.

You will perform hand-soldering, read blueprints and schematics, use basic computer systems, and ensure quality while maintaining EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of production hand-soldering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, fabrication, and modification of electrical and mechanical assemblies per engineering docs and work instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, repair, and rework of transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies.
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Execute production hand-soldering tasks per Raytheon and industry standards.
• Use basic computer systems and internal software tools for documentation and production data entry (training provided).
• Assemble, route, connect, and secure components using hand tools and measurement devices.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Wear PPE and follow EH&S procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement.
• Work primarily seated; may stand/bend/climb as needed.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
