This position performs various overhaul, rework, repair, and associated operations on aircraft equipment and components in both standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

Compensation

• $3,500 Sign on Bonus*

1st Shift Schedule

• This position is for 1st shift.
• Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
• Overtime available on a business need basis.

What You Will Do

• You will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• You will test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• You will identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels; repairs as necessary.
• You will conduct inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
• You will be responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations, diagnoses, and correction of problems.
• You will follow repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
• You will set up necessary repair and test facilities.
• You may be required to complete an apprenticeship or training.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
