Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and schematics with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in work or academic settings.
• Willingness to learn kaizen/continuous improvement in a lean environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform materials and sub-assemblies into finished products per drawings and work instructions.
• Maintain safety standards in the assembly department and drive safety projects.
• Meet productivity and quality targets on an hourly/daily basis.
• Assemble components using hand and power tools per instructions to meet quality standards.
• Apply lean manufacturing and kaizen to identify process improvements and solve problems.
