Job summary

EMT International Hobart, WI is seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Assembler to join our Finishing team. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems used in EMT’s finishing equipment.

Qualifications

• Reads electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Performs electrical wiring, cable routing and panel assembly.
• Installs and connects pneumatic and mechanical components.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs and assembly docs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies and finishing equipment from drawings and instructions.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable routing and panel assembly.
• Install and connect pneumatic and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs and assembly documentation.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and wiring issues.
• Safely use hand and power tools and measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on continuous improvement.
• Assist with machine testing, setup and final prep for shipment.
