Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Ladson, SC to support the SES team in producing automated screening technology for aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure. You will rapidly manufacture sub-assemblies and finished systems, reading diagrams and assembly documentation while handling cables, panels, and enclosures.

The role involves soldering, wiring, and tests, with attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or R&D.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, harnesses, panels, enclosures, and other small sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
• Install components per assembly documentation.
• Solder wires, PCBA’s, and components.
• Measure, cut, strip, and route wires on panels/enclosures.
• Utilize basic hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization.
