Job summary

MSCCN in Louisville, KY is seeking a skilled assembler to work with mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical equipment at sub-assembly or system level. You will perform tests, alignment, modification, repair and assembly to ensure a ready end product.

The role involves installing and connecting systems to test stands, interfacing components and test equipment, and maintaining quality standards. A second shift (Mon-Thu 4PM–2:30AM) with training on days may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skill to analyze equipment to determine repairs.
• Ability to perform functional testing with specialized equipment and test documentation.
• Disassemble weapon system/sub-systems into major components and refurbish/repair as required.
• Restore close tolerance fittings with precision workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assembles mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment at sub-assembly or system level and performs tests.
• Installs and connects electronic/electro-hydraulic or mechanical systems to test stands; interfaces components and test equipment.
• Maintains and improves housekeeping and adheres to safety rules in the work area.
• Clock in/out and close shop orders; manage time/attendance in the system.
