Job summary

KLA is seeking an electro‑mechanical assembler in Totowa, NJ to build and test computer‑based instrumentation machinery. The role emphasizes wiring, assembling sub‑assemblies, and live testing while reading blueprints and schematics.

• Electro‑mechanical assembly of computer‑based instrumentation machinery with emphasis on wiring, assembling and building/testing of sub‑assemblies
• Ability to perform re‑work, test and calibration of sub‑assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical orders
• Hands‑on soldering and crimping of small intricate connector and wire assemblies
• Special projects and other related duties as assigned
• Develop knowledge of ECI products
• Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies
• Resolve and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications

Base Pay Range: $16.93 – $28.75 Per Hour
