Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking an Assembler 3 for the manufacturing floor to collaborate with Quality, Technical Operations, and Engineering. You will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations and perform diverse assembly tasks on sub-assemblies.

You will follow blueprints, perform wiring, component installation, and hand soldering, and set up processes while maintaining tolerances. Apply your electro-mechanical skills to ensure product readiness and quality on the line.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
• Requires production experience in electro-mechanical assembly, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, ability to work from established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products
