Job summary

SeeScan is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our camera assembly team in San Diego. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The position offers compensation at $20/hour or more, depending on qualifications, along with comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k) plan. PTO is flexible with no cap. Responsibilities include assembling electronic and mechanical subassemblies, soldering, using precision tools, and conducting in-process

Qualifications

  • Experience assembling electronic, structural, and mechanical subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools (manual and powered).
  • Knowledge of QA protocols for assembly workers.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Able to read a Bill of Materials and identify required parts.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components using small- and large-scale tools such as tweezers, pliers, and torque wrenches.
  • Work with a microscope to inspect parts for debris and for assemblage of precision-critical parts.
  • Solder parts and assemblies as required.
  • Work within a team to assemble smaller components as part of a larger assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Perform in-process quality checks on assembly.
  • Perform rework and repairs as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including maintenance of work area and equipment.

Compensation

This position pays$20/hour or more, depending on qualifications.

We are looking for a long-term, in-house team member to join us, not a contractor or consultant.

In this position, you will
