Job summary

Averro seeks 3-4 Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a precision electronics manufacturer in Bedford, MA. You will assemble precision electronic and electromechanical components using hand tools, read assembly drawings, and perform soldering including through-hole work.

You will maintain ESD, 5S, and safety standards, inspect products, and may train Level 1 assemblers while suggesting process improvements. The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on electronics or electromechanical assembly experience with required through-hole soldering.
• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings; use magnification tools; knowledge of ESD, Lean/5S, and ISO 9001
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Hand solder through-hole and fine-pitch parts on PCBs and cables; perform rework

We are seeking 3-4 Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a precision electronics manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in soldering, electronics assembly, and inspection looking to further their career in precision manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assemble precision electronic and electromechanical components using hand tools and work instructions


• Hand solder through-hole and fine-pitch parts on PCBs and cables; perform rework


• Operate assembly equipment; inspect and test product for non-conformances


• Maintain ESD, 5S, and safety standards; train Level 1 assemblers and suggest process improvements

Essential Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on electronics or electromechanical assembly experience with required through-hole soldering


• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings; use magnification tools; knowledge of ESD, Lean/5S, and ISO 9001

Bonus Qualifications

• SMT/fine-pitch soldering; IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certification
