Averro is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for an industrial automation manufacturing environment in New York. The role focuses on wiring, hand soldering, and cable harness assembly, with reading blueprints and following detailed work instructions.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on soldering and wiring skills, be able to read blueprints, and hold tolerances. The position may require overtime and offers opportunities to grow in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Hands-on soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing skills; able to read blueprints and hold tolerances.
• High school diploma or GED; legal U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly of units and sub-assemblies, including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing
• Follow or determine assembly methods and operation sequences from blueprints and work instructions
• Set up and adjust equipment while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• Collaborate with peers and customers to share technical information and resolve moderately complex issues
• Work independently on daily tasks with minimal supervision; overtime is a possibility
