The Electro-mechanic II takes a lead role when working with Electrical systems and Maintenance teams. This position is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical installations, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. The Electro-mechanic II must have understanding of Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) systems, ladder logic and have the ability to troubleshoot , repair these systems. In addition, this position will support the overall facility maintenance including but not limited to: basic plumbing, snow removal, event preparation, basic construction, painting, etc. Using their experience and strong work ethic, they will take complete ownership of the job; planning work around production schedules, working with a sense of urgency to focus on ensuring continuous production. They will have a genuine desire to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently, utilizing good work practices as part of a maintenance team or when working independently with minimal supervision. This position must adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies. Additional responsibilities will include: periodic training of proper system and machine operation and maintenance, assistance with creating SOP and other related documentation and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.
