Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking an Electrification Site Solution Development Engineer in Mossville, IL to design and deploy customer-facing electrification solutions. You will translate site requirements into system-level specifications and work with cross-functional teams to balance performance, safety, reliability, and cost.

Responsibilities include prototype validation, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement, with domestic travel and relocation assistance provided where needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrification site solutions from requirements to deployment.
• Translate site needs into system- and component-level specs and interfaces.
• Support integration, prototype testing, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and verification for key components.
• Document design descriptions and test reports, monitor industry trends.
