Emmitsburg, MD / Marton / Electrician / On-site Apply for this job Marton Technologies, Inc (A Panum Group, LLC company), is looking for skilled individuals who are looking to be part of a growing company. Marton, a subsidiary of Panum Group, LLC, is seeking a full time Electrician (Maintenance) to join our contract providing support for the FEMA National Educations Training Center (NETC).Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on all building electrical equipment and ancillary equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment such as generators, transformers, or circuit breakers.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
- Locate, troubleshoot, and repair problems in electrical equipment.
- Perform all required electrical work.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Install safety and distribution components.
- Ensure a continuous supply of electrical power including electricity for miscellaneous seasonal and special events.
- Install, repair, and adjust all electrical systems, including service and distribution, interior and exterior lighting.
- Install, repair, and adjust all emergency lighting, cathodic protection, uninterruptible power supply (UPS systems) and generators.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, testing and inspection, in accordance with guidelines and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a journeyman electrician dealing with electrical controls, circuitry, and power equipment.
- OSHA 10 and 30-hour certification with recent CPR training preferred.
- Construction Health & Safety Technician certification desired.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and verbal communication.
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds or more.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.
