Teasdale Foods, Inc. is seeking an Electrician (Industrial/Manufacturing) in Hoopeston, IL. The role supports the maintenance team by performing routine electrical tasks and troubleshooting to ensure reliable electrical systems in a food manufacturing setting.

You will work under guidance with senior electricians, maintain safety and GMP compliance, and document activities in the CMMS. This position offers on-site work with union benefits and opportunities for skill-based pay progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, such as replacing fuses, bulbs, and wiring.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using technical manuals and schematics.
• Support Preventive Maintenance Technicians in completing electrical PM tasks as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections of electrical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Document maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, in the CMMS.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new electrical equipment.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.

ELECTRICIANS (INDUSTRIAL/MANUFACTURING) - HOOPESTON, ILPay Rate: Level I = $35, Level II = $401st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts AvailableOVERVIEW:Electricians (Industrial/Manufacturing) are responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repair tasks.
