Job summary

SameDay Heating & Air Plumbing and Electrical is seeking experienced Electrical Service Technicians in Utah to perform installations, repairs, and upgrades in residential settings. You will diagnose panels, circuits, and wiring, while following NEC and local codes.

The role includes safety inspections, clear homeowner communications, and documentation while maintaining tools and vehicle. We offer strong earning potential, modern tools, and support with opportunities for growth within a company

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Utah Journeyman license preferred but not required immediately.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Customer-focused communication and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades.

• Complete panel upgrades, service changes, and code correction work.

• Follow NEC requirements, local code regulations, and company safety standards.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Support and assist apprentices and developing electricians as needed.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Utah Residential Journeyman or Journeyman Electrician license highly preferred. (Not required immediately.)
• 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Customer-focused communication and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying jobsite conditions.
