Job summary

SameDay Heating & Air Plumbing and Electrical is seeking experienced Electrical Service Technicians to deliver safe, code-compliant workmanship and excellent customer service in residential settings. You will perform installations, repairs, upgrades, troubleshoot panels and circuits, and ensure work meets NEC and local code requirements.

You will contribute to a growing team by mentoring apprentices, maintaining tools and company vehicle, and documenting service activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Utah residential journeyman license preferred but not required immediately.
• 2+ years residential electrical experience.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying jobsite conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical panels, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, and wiring systems.
• Complete panel upgrades, service changes, and code correction work.
• Conduct electrical safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Provide homeowners with clear explanations and repair recommendations.
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Follow NEC requirements, local code regulations, and company safety standards.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Support and assist apprentices and developing electricians as needed.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Utah Residential Journeyman or Journeyman Electrician license highly preferred. (Not required immediately.)
