Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Electrician for a role based in Huntsville, AL. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical lighting, power distribution, building systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure reliable operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an electrician apprenticeship preferred and 5 years of related experience. Expect physical demands and safety compliance as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship preferred.
• 5 years of related electrical maintenance experience is required.
• Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled electrical tasks to best practices.
• Install, maintain, and alter electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and install circuits; keep work area clean.
• Inspect work to ensure code and facility requirements met.
• Perform other duties as assigned by facilities manager.
