Job summary

Signarama Cleveland is seeking a skilled Sign Installer / Electrical Service Technician. This full-time role blends electrical work with hands-on sign installation outdoors, across a variety of projects.

You will diagnose and repair illuminated signs, install LED lighting and power supplies, run conduit, and operate bucket trucks or lifts. A strong safety mindset and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Signarama Cleveland is hiring a Sign Installer / Electrical Service Technician.

If you have an electrical background but are tired of doing the same type of work every day, the sign industry might be a great fit.

We’re looking for someone with solid electrical and troubleshooting skills who enjoys working outdoors, working with their hands, and tackling something different every day.

Sign experience is NOT required. If you have the electrical knowledge and the right attitude, we can teach you the sign side of the business.

The job includes:

• Troubleshooting and repairing illuminated signs
• LED lighting and power supply installation
• Electrical connections and service work
• Installing channel letters, cabinets, and other illuminated signage
• Working from bucket trucks and aerial lifts
• Running conduit and electrical feedsDiagnosing problems in the field
• General sign installation and service
• Installing NON-electrical signs

This is a great opportunity for an electrician who likes troubleshooting, working outside, operating equipment, and seeing a finished product at the end of the day.

We have a busy shop, a strong backlog of work, multiple bucket trucks, cranes, service vehicles, and the equipment needed to do the job right.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced with electrical work (8 plus years)
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable with heights
• Good at troubleshooting
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Safety conscious
• Willing to learn
• Someone with a positive, “figure it out and get it done” attitude

Previous sign experience, welding/fabrication experience, CDL, crane experience, or experience operating aerial equipment is a plus — but not required.

Full-time position in Cleveland, Ohio.
