Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Pull wire, bend conduit, install electrical boxes, and perform basic electrical tasks under supervision.
  • Support electricians during troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Assist with testing electrical systems and equipment using appropriate testing instruments.
  • Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Complete assigned work accurately while following direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.
  • Gather, transport, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.

Job description

We are seeking a career driven and dependa ble Full-Time Electrician's Assistant with 0-2 years experience to assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Pay Starting at $23 - $26 + benefits based on experience and skil l . This position offers valuable hands-on experience while developing the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in the electrical trade.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious and has problem solving skills with the ability to assess situations, identify root causes and develop practical, effective solutions. Working alongside experienced electricians, you will assist with electrical installations, material handling, equipment preparation, and jobsite organization while gaining practical experience on commercial construction projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work from ladders and elevated work platforms.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces as required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, reaching, and hand movements.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment.

Work is performed primarily in commercial, industrial, and construction environments. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, construction site hazards, elevated work areas, noise, dust, energized equipment, and physically demanding work activities. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn in accordance with company policies and applicable safety regulations.
