Job summary

Porta-King Building Systems is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Electrician to install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems in prefabricated buildings. You will read blueprints, lay out circuits, and ensure NEC compliance before shipment.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work with production and engineering teams on site in Montgomery City, MO. A high school diploma or GED and electrical training or apprenticeship are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Electrical training/apprenticeship or equivalent work experience preferred
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) beneficial

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, devices, panels, lighting, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out and install branch circuits, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, disconnects, and panelboards.
• Install conduit, cable, and wire using accepted electrical practices.
• Test electrical systems and verify code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues before shipment.
