Construction Job Force in Brownsville, TX is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, test, and commission industrial electrical equipment on active construction sites. You will work with 480V systems, read drawings, and support energization and closeout.

This on-site role requires 5+ years of electrical construction, conduit and wiring work, and adherence to NFPA 70E and PPE standards. Travel 80%+ on rotations, with nights and weekends as needed, and a $30–$50 hourly pay plus $125 per

Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

This role focuses on installing, testing, and commissioning industrial electrical equipment and infrastructure on active construction sites. You will work with 480V systems and a wide range of electrical components, perform detailed electrical testing and troubleshooting, and support project energization and closeout. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to interpret complex drawings and documentation, and strict adherence to safety standards and procedures.

Pay: $30-50.00/hr

Per Diem: $125/day per diem (for travelers 75+ miles away from site)

This is an on site position in Starbase, TX.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including conduit, cable tray, duct bank, wiring, cable installation, and 480V terminations.
• Skilled in conduit bending, wire pulling, electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and energization.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and work packages.
• Proficient with multimeters, meggers, ammeters, hand/power tools, with knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO, grounding, and PPE requirements.
• Must be physically capable of demanding construction work and willing to work nights/weekends/overtime, outdoors and at heights/confined spaces, and travel 80%+ on construction rotations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
