This first-shift role requires a strong electrical background and the ability to perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of production and facility equipment.

Maintenance Technician - First Shift

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (Day Shift)

Job Summary

Ultrafab is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Greer, SC. This first-shift role requires a strong electrical background and the ability to perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of production and facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and document all work completed.
• Use tools such as conduit benders, cable pullers, multimeters, and vibration analyzers.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks (lighting, minor plumbing, ceiling tiles, etc.).
• Maintain CMMS records and communicate downtime and repair priorities.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and participate in safety training.
• Assist with inventory control for parts and maintenance supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Willingness to learn and operate advanced tools (lathe, mill, grinder, welder).
  
  

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical vocational/trade school diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and reading schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching).
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with required PPE.
• Exposure to loud noise and industrial equipment.
