Job summary

Kondex Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Electrician to join the Tech Services team. This role serves as a resource for troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across CNC machines, stamping presses, tooling systems, and electrical systems.

You will program and support Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, including ControlLogix and CompactLogix, and mentor technicians while coordinating with engineering, vendors, and maintenance peers.

Qualifications

• Requires Journeyman Electrician or Maint. Mechanic cert or equivalent multi-trade industrial maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing, with CNC/machining centers, stamping presses, tooling systems, and automated equipment; PLC control systems experience incl. ControlLogix/CompactLogix.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting industrial control tech incl. VFDs, HMIs, Ethernet/IP, and related applications.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics, machine drawings, blueprints, and technical docs.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with ability to guide/training maintenance staff.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for CNC machines, stamping presses, tooling systems, and automated equipment.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and automation systems.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC platforms (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) and support online monitoring.
• Support reliability and CI initiatives through preventive/predictive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Assist with planning/capital projects, upgrades, installations, and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchasing, vendors, and contractors to improve performance and spare parts management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring during outages and maintenance activities.
• Develop maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, PM docs, and training materials.
