Job Description

About the Role

This is a position for a detail-oriented, hands-on individual; this candidate shall be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of all facets of electrical operations for a multi-site, diverse organization.

This individual shall be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with little supervision but also must be able to work in groups and as directed when needed.

Locates and determines electrical malfunctions; works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency; completing all of this work in a timely fashion with an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

This role will require onsite support 5 days a week with on-call support.

About You

Qualifications:

  1. 10 plus years of experience working as an Electrician supporting and maintaining high voltage systems.
  2. This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs., along with the ability to work off of ladders and to complete repetitive tasks when required.
  3. Candidate must be able to repair, maintain and install electrical systems and equipment such as motors and transformers used for the distribution of electricity in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
  4. Finally, as is common in a services support type role, you must be flexible to work outside of your regular work hours when either scheduled or unscheduled.
  5. Technical Services support response is needed.

Education/Experience:

  1. 2-year technical certification (technical job) or equivalent work experience or high school (non-technical job) with a minimum of 10 years related experience.
  2. MA Journeyman Electrician license is a must-have.
