Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, panels, conduit, and wiring in industrial settings.
• Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, ensure crew productivity and safety compliance.
• Perform quality control inspections on electrical work completed by crew members.
• Communicate with project managers and foremen regarding project status, materials, and scheduling.
• Ensure all work meets NEC codes, OSHA standards, and local regulations.

About the Role:

Genesis Industrial Ventures, LLC (GIV) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Electrician Leadman. The Electrician Leadman will be responsible for the safe and efficient supervision, coordination, and direction of assigned electrical personnel and work activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES

• Ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to.
• Prepares cost estimate for labor and materials orders supplies, parts and equipment.
• Monitors employees work levels and reports findings to Supervisor.
• Must perform final testing of installed equipment and provide reports.
• Performs related work as required.
• Must adhere to a promote ALL company safety policies. Wear all required PPE when in Production areas and promote a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, tech manuals and work specifications.
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their use, repair and maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in shipyard and marine practices, quality assurance and contractual responsibilities.
• Knowledge of planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordinating of people and resources.
• Must have excellent understanding of all trade responsibilities.
• Skill using various hand and power tools.
• Skill in determining proper sequence of planning, scheduling and production flow.
• Skill in leadership as working as a team leader.
• Skill in troubleshooting shipboard equipment.
• Effective problem solving along with string oral and written communication skills.
• Sound interpersonal skills needed to interface with company personnel, customers and outside contacts.
• Must be able to speak and understand Basic English
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
