Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced electrical installer for industrial construction/maintenance projects in Texas. You will read blueprints, measure and install conduit, and connect control and distribution equipment with safety as a priority.

The role requires wiring installations by hand or machine, testing circuit continuity, and inspecting system function to identify hazards or needs for adjustments. On-site performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
• NCEER Certified Plus (Preferred).
• Ability to fabricate and install rigid & aluminum, EMT, plastic-bond, and PVC conduit.
• Ability to use mechanical benders; use hydraulic benders 2”–4”; fabricate and install conduit supports.
• Ability to do wire and cable installation by hand, by machine, and in cable trays.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work, location, quantities and sizes of materials.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using hands tools and benders.
• Test continuity of circuits and safety of components using appropriate testing instruments.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment and determine hazards or needs for adjustments or replacement.
• Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems as needed.
