Job Overview:

In order for the Electrician to perform this job successfully, he/she must possess a Journeyman's Card/Certification and be able to perform each essential duty as listed satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for and ability to read wiring and circuit diagrams.
  • Must have a strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical control systems, machine components, electronic circuits and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components.
  • Must have the ability to read electrical schematics, technical repair manuals, prints, and specifications and use the information for the expedient repair of equipment.
  • Perform regular predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and take appropriate action.
  • Seek and consult with higher level position for more complex issues.
  • You must be self-motivated and highly productive.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates that are interested in this opportunity MUST be a Card-holding Journeyman and provide valid proof/documentation along with a minimum of 5 years of electrical experience. This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 paid at hire and remaining $2,500 paid after 60 days employment). This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
Hiring for positions on B & C Crew.
B Crew Hours: 6 pm - 4:30 am (Tues-Fri)
C Crew Hours: 6 am - 4:30 pm (Fri & Sat), 6 pm - 4:30 am (Sun & Mon)

Required Skills/Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:

  • MUST be a Card-holding Journeyman (Certification is required).
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley family including PLC 5000, PLC 500, Panel Builder, and Device Net.
  • Knowledge of Stanley and Atlas Copco power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring and circuit diagrams for troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Dalsa Vision Systems.
  • Knowledge basics of ABB Robotics that include homing robots, touching up points, and hardware malfunctions.
  • Time management and prioritizing skills.
