Electrical Journeyman Wanted!

About This Position: As an electrician for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As an electrician, you may be tasked with the following:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
2. Layout and install electrical systems including conduit, wiring, cable tray, strut, pumps and motors, breakers, gear, and various other electrical components to code or spec.
3. Operate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical benders, threaders, wire pullers, power drill, hydraulic strippers, hydraulic punch, hand tools, knockout set, and other related field tools.
4. Test, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation.
5. Other responsibilities as assigned by your site supervisor.

Be a safety champion and return home safely each day. Pay is DOE $16 - $35 / hour.

Job Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of electrical construction experience.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
• Ability to obtain an apprentice or journeyman’s license with the state licensing board.
• Ability to work well with others.
