Position Title: 01 & 02 Electrical Journeyman

Job Overview:

We are a construction and property management company that has been based in the Seattle area since 1990. We focus on multi-family housing for emerging middle-class tenants. We are rapidly growing, changing and improving every aspect of our business. We have an immediate need for 02 Electrical Journeyman/Apprentice with Multi Family new Construction experience.

The electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This may include wiring, fixtures, and control systems in various settings such as residential, commercial, or Multi Family buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to relevant codes and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure electrical systems are integrated effectively into building plans.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Keep abreast of developments in electrical technology and regulations to maintain professional competence.
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices or junior electricians as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring manual labor and working in various conditions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Education and Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
  • Additional certification or coursework in electrical technology is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Electricians may work indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
  • They may be exposed to various weather conditions and environments.
  • The work may involve climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces.
  • Electricians often work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially for emergency repairs or construction projects with tight deadlines.
  • Will need to travel from Tacoma to Seattle depending on the project.

Job Type: Full-time M-F We are offering.

$40-$60 per hour (based on experience). Benefits: Start after 60 Day
