Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA seeks an Adjunct Electrician Instructor to educate students in electrical installation, maintenance, and NEC standards. The role involves delivering classroom and lab instruction, maintaining student records, and supporting safety and lab readiness.

Under the Electrician Program Lead Instructor, you will develop and deliver courses, collaborate with college staff, and participate in professional development while upholding institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Electrical certification from an accredited college or equivalent credential.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 Construction preferred.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety training preferred.
• 3–5 years of electrician experience in residential and commercial settings.
• 2 years of higher education teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction in electrical installation, maintenance and NEC standards.
• Maintain attendance, input data into the student information system, and monitor grades.
• Oversee lab readiness, inventory, safety checks, and equipment issues.
• Submit required paperwork and participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Report to the Electrician Program Lead Instructor and support student success initiatives.
