Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks Journeymen, Mechanics, and Top Helpers with at least 2+ years of commercial/industrial electrician experience to join our team. The role involves installing, inspecting and repairing electrical systems across projects, complying with electrical codes and safety standards.

Candidates will work on wiring layouts, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of panels, transformers and motor control centers. Strong physical ability and tool proficiency are required for现场 work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a commercial/industrial electrician.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and local codes.
• Experience with installing and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools; based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes and safety rules
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate and fix issues
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity to ensure safety and compatibility
• Install panel boards, transformers, motor control centers and motors
• Lay out and work from ladders, lifts, scaffolds or roofs to install or repair wiring and fixtures
• Place conduit and pull insulated wires through conduit to complete circuits
• Connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers
• Maintain trade-specific tools and perform physically demanding tasks
• Notify foreman or management about potential safety hazards

We are looking for Journeymen, Mechanics, Top Helpers

Must have 2+ years Commercial/Industrial Electrician Experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools; based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes
• Inspect and trouble shoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety rules
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of system
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including circuit tracers, volt meters, megger, proximity testers and ohmmeters
• Install panel boards, transformers, motor control centers and motors
• Layout and work from ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, outlet/junction boxes, fixtures and fixture whips
• Place conduit, pipes or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Maintain trade specific tools and are required
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects
• Notify the foreman/crew leader, superintendent or management when the continued operation of equipment could be hazardous or could cause a safety violation
