Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Harrisonburg-based team.

The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, with work on motors, generators, transformers, and controls to keep operations running smoothly. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and perform preventive maintenance, using handheld tablets or scanners as part of daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years industrial electrical experience or electrical trade school diploma.
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Familiar with handheld tablets/scanners and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, and controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to keep operations running smoothly.

• Coordinate with other teams to schedule repairs and installations.

Starting Pay: $26.00-$35.00 Depending on qualifications
12-hour shifts | Rotating Shift (6am-6pm for 2 weeks and 6pm-6am for two weeks)

Location: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22801

What You’ll Do:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (motors, generators, transformers, and controls).

What You Need:

• At least 2 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or an electrical trade school degree
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC’s (examples: EG, Allen Bradley, Siemens) and attention to detail
• Experience with hand held tablets or scanners
• Valid electrical certification (as required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
