Job summary

• Ensure compliance with National Electric Code.
• Maintain production standards to meet demand.
• Complete paperwork, tags, and transactions accurately.
• Follow LOTO and safety protocols and operate PIT safely.
• Meet safety, delivery, quality, and cost targets daily.
• Support 5S initiatives in work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Electrician II (2nd Shift, M-F, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

Hourly Wage Rate $42.78 + shift premium. This position is based in Wayne, MI. The hourly wage rate for Journeyman-level candidates is $42.78. Reporting to the Purchasing and Maintenance Manager, the electrician will install, maintain, and repair all types of electrical equipment to support production operations.

What you’ll do

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated equipment
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers’ installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
• All work must be compliant with current National Electric Code
• Maintain production standards to meet internal and external customer demand
• Accurately complete all paperwork, transactions, tags, etc.
• Adhere to all Life Saving Rules, including Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding/Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocols
• Ensure Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are met daily
• Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas
• Perform all other duties as assigned
