Aramark is seeking an Electrician I for Yosemite National Park, CA to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. You will execute scheduled work, read drawings, and follow safety standards while delivering reliable electrical services on site.

The role requires 1–3 years of electrical maintenance experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k); expect physical work and adherence to PPE

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in an electrical maintenance role.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs, and safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Execute timely and accurate completion of scheduled assignments, work requests and projects.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers.
• Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout and troubleshoot installations.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet/coaxial cable, lighting fixtures and other components.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators and reactors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
• May install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
• Research repair parts from manuals and sources.
• Participate in continuous improvement to optimize reliability and value.
• Follow all safety standards and PPE requirements.

Job Description

The Electrician executes projects and work orders by installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $34.59 to $34.59. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• The Electrician executes the timely and correct performance of scheduled assignments, work requests and projects.
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.

• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine correct layout and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Installs, examines, replaces, or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintains, repairs, installs and tests switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
• Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps maintenance records.
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
• Researches and specifies repair parts from manuals and computer sources.
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts to optimize reliability and value.
• Follows all Aramark and safety standards, requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies and operating procedures.
• Adheres to all Aramark appearance standards and always wears the required uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.

Qualifications

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
