Job summary

Dollywood Parks & Resorts in Tennessee is hiring an Electrician I to join our maintenance team at Dollywood Theme Park. This full-time role supports installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in a fast-paced environment, following safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of Company vehicles.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Prepare materials, clean work areas, and track supplies and inventory.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site.
• Assist with conducting scheduled maintenance and regulatory inspections.
• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials.
• Maintain records of work completed and parts used.
• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with manufacturer’s specifications, company policies & procedures, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
