TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a full-time Street Lighting Electrician apprentice in Tampa, Florida. This entry-level program teaches the concepts and skills needed to progress toward becoming a qualified electrician, including field support, installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems.

This is an entry-level apprentice position in which the selected candidate will learn the concepts and skills necessary to progress toward becoming a qualified electrician. This position may include various aspects of field support, installation, maintenance, and repair, including but not limited to street lighting maintenance; electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation; conduit and pull box installation; and pole and foundation installation.
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of a journeyman-level electrician. All work must be performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable state and local building codes.

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent preferred
