Job summary

Amherst Operating Services in Cuero, Texas seeks an electrician with a Texas JMN license and at least one year of experience to read blueprints and install electrical systems in our StudioBuilt homes.

You will work on the production floor, ensure safety, inspect electrical work, document schematics, and collaborate with equipment installations in a fast-growing modular housing operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Electrician Texas JMN License, minimum of one year experience, and ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with plant and safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Inspect and test all electrical work carried out on the home.
• Collaborate with equipment installations and re‑alignment of cells.
• Use diagnostics and repair equipment and facilities.
• Maintain and update equipment documentation, schematics, etc. for future reference.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties.
