Job summary

Ferrara in Holden, MO is seeking an Assembler I to build and install nonelectrical and electrical components on fire apparatus assemblies. You will read blueprints, work at stations, and use hand and power tools to assemble parts to exact specifications.

This full-time role requires teamwork, basic reading of measurements, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training and safety protocols are provided; many advancement opportunities within Ferrara/KME family.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns.

Responsibilities

• Install interior/exterior components and hardware.
• Assemble fabricated parts at stations.
• Read blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Ensure safety requirements and manufacturing quality are met.
• Lift and inspect the product to meet quality standards.
