Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is a Fortune 500 global flooring leader seeking an electrician to wire three-phase motor systems, service motor control circuits, and perform diagnostic testing. You will locate faults, run NEC-compliant power circuits, and load drive/program parameters for AC/DC drives and sensors.

Training for Class II Electricians and safety protocols is provided. Based in Dalton, Georgia, this on-site role emphasizes hands-on electrical maintenance within a large manufacturing

Qualifications

• Wire 3-phase motor connections, disconnects, fuse blocks, timers, counters, meters, contactors, heaters, transformers, proximity sensors, relays, solenoids, drives and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot and test AC and DC motor control circuits.
• Locate bad fuses, short circuits, opens and grounds, and repair as needed.
• Run power circuits for required loads per NEC standards
• Understand software programs of AC/DC drives, timers, sensors, meters well enough to load programs and adjust parameters
• Diagnostic testing using VOM and amprobe
• Understand and complete work orders
• Perform basic mechanical duties
• Must be willing to assist and train Class II Electricians
• Electrical Safety Training
• Lock-out / Tag-out Training
• CPR and First Aid training
