Job summary

New Hire Solutions is seeking an Electrician Helper in Thomasville, GA. You will assist lead electricians with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems, with a focus on safety, reliability, and learning on the job. Schedule: Mon–Fri 7:30AM–4:30PM, with overtime as needed.

Eligible candidates should have a valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and be willing to undergo a background check. Prior electrical experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Assist in install lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Thread conduit ends and connect fittings using a wrench.
• Pull wires through conduit to connection boxes and panels.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead electricians with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems.
• Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings using wrench.
• Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit.
• Use conduit bending tools, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
• Dig trenches to lay wire and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionElectrician Helper Thomasville, GA | $10.00 - $15.00 / Hour We are searching for anelectrician helper to be responsible for assisting lead electricians with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious eager to learn, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in various work environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in install lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers
• Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings using wrench
• Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals
• Use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers
• Digging trenches to lay wire
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Clean Drug Test
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Willing to undergo Criminal Background Check
• Great communication skills
• Previous electrical experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance

Location: Thomasville, Georgia Pay Rate:$10.00 - $15.00 / Hour Schedule:Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:30PM, overtime as needed
