Job summary

Signature Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is seeking a helper electrician to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and adhere to local and national codes while working safely to support projects from start to finish and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Residential electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair experience.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
Commitment to safety and code compliance.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Valid electrician license or certification.

Responsibilities

Safely install electrical systems, wiring, and equipment based on diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
Diagnose and repair electrical problems in a timely manner.
Adhere to local and national electrical codes and regulations.
Maintain accurate installation and maintenance records.
Communicate with clients, supervisors and team members about project requirements.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE to ensure a safe work environment.
