Job summary

Tradesmen International, LLC is hiring experienced Electricians/Generator Technicians for projects in the Clinton, NJ area. This is a first shift opportunity with pay up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Install, wire, commission, troubleshoot, and service residential and light-commercial electrical systems
• Install and service automatic standby generators, transfer switches, and associated equipment
• Diagnose electrical and generator-related problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, technical specifications, and installation documentation

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, commission, troubleshoot, and service residential and light-commercial electrical systems
• Install and service automatic standby generators, transfer switches, and associated equipment
• Perform electrical work in accordance with NEC requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable local codes
• Diagnose electrical and generator-related problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty-related service on installed generator systems
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, technical specifications, and installation documentation
• Verify proper generator sizing and electrical connections based on project requirements
• Work with natural-gas and propane-powered standby generator systems
• Assist with generator start-up, testing, commissioning, and customer orientation
• Identify code, installation, or equipment issues and communicate findings to management and customers
• Maintain accurate service documentation and job records
• Coordinate with permitting, inspection, and project personnel as required
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site
